Cricketgearnz is proudly NZ operated. We started as a small home-run business selling a few products to close friends and then we had the idea why not expand and set up an online store. We got our ball rolling and set up this website and bought all our stock. Starting from selling from the garage, we now operate from a small warehouse with 1 full time and 1 part-time staff and we plan to expand to a bigger warehouse in the future.

We now ship directly from our Auckland based warehouse and some products are directly shipped from our suppliers based on stock levels. We now ship to over 7 countries and counting.

Why are our prices so cheap compared to other cricket retailers ? We are an online-only business, therefore can pass on the benefits to our customers. Due to our volume of orders, we now get special discounts and pass that on to our customers as well.

We at cricketgearnz love our cricket and still play cricket to this day and over the years we have accumulated great product knowledge and we are always happy to help and answer your questions. We always stand by our products we sell and if for any reason you are not happy with your purchase you can always return it.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY 

We stand by the quality of our products and we stand by our team to make things right if you are not satisfied with your purchase. You can return any products to receive a full refund of the purchase price or exchange the products within 10 days of delivery (No Questions Asked), provided that the products are returned in their original condition with packaging and proof of purchase for a full refund not including shipping charges (if any) or for a Store credit.

Any charges for sending the product back will be borne by you.

Unfortunately for health reasons, we cannot return some items such as abdominal guard, or any customized items for which once an order containing any customized items which have been validated it cannot be changed or canceled. This includes cricket bats which have been knocked in or modified in any way.

RISK

The risk of any loss of, or damage to, the products will pass to you on delivery.

PRICING

All prices are subject to change anytime without any notice to you. All our prices are in NZD. If a price has been published on error we reserve the right to amend or rectify any errors in pricing or product specification within 24 hours of being notified of it or after an order has been processed.

WARRANTY CLAIMS AND REPLACEMENTS

We are not legally bound to replace, refund or repair any used product deemed faulty until the product manufacturer, importer or supplier authorises such a claim after inspecting the damaged, faulty or unsuitable product. Please ensure that you return any unsatisfactory product immediately for inspection. Requests for replacement or credit without inspection or proof of purchase may be declined.

Cricket bats will be considered under warranty for a period of 2 months from date of purchase.

CRICKET GEAR NZ reserve the right to revoke this warranty if we believe that the bat has been used in ways not deemed reasonable. We also reserve the right to revoke this warranty if labels were removed or chosen not to be applied. No cash refunds will be offered and the shipping costs relating to the returning of goods will be borne by the customer.

All products should be returned with all the original accessories. Until we receive all the accessories we will not process any warranty claim.

Should you believe a warranty claim to be necessary, the product must be returned to us for inspection. Proof of purchase is required to be provided for any claim to be valid.

The warranty period does NOT include the following;

● Misuse

● Insufficient knocking in and preparation prior to use ( bats )

● Superficial cracking

● Damaged edges or toe, or excessive use

● Bats used against bowling machines are not returnable as these especially damage cricket bats.

Bat Knocking - Please note bats can break even when they are knocked properly ( even knocked by us), warranty claims is at the sole discretion of manufacturer or distributor.

In the case of replacement product, the remaining warranty period on the existing product only will be carried onto the replacement bat.

Full priced Items can be exchange, credited or refunded. All sale and clearance Items can be exchanged or credited but no refunds will be offered.

Returned orders qualify for full store credit or when refund is provided shipping charges ( actual charges - not charged ) will not be refunded.

We ship our orders from different locations depending on stock availability, due to this some orders can take longer to get delivered, if you are seeking a refund then the order will need to be delivered and returned to us in NZ reported missing by the shipping company before a refund can be processed.

CONSUMER GUARANTEES ACT

If the products are subject to the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 ("CGA"), you may have statutory rights and remedies which are not excluded nor limited by the above provisions unless you are acquiring the products for business purposes, in which case all of the above exclusions and limitations will apply and the CGA will not apply.

ALL LIABILITY EXCLUDED

To the extent permitted by law:

● all warranties, representations and guarantees (whether express, implied or statutory) are excluded, including without limitation, suitability, fitness for purpose, accuracy or completeness of this site or the content on or accessed through it; and

● we will not be liable for any damages, losses or expenses, or indirect losses or consequential damages of any kind, suffered or incurred by you in connection with your access to or use of this site or the content on or accessed through it.
